Mission Statement
THE OBJECT AND PURPOSE OF THE PATHFINDERS,
INC SHALL BE TO PROVIDE RESIDENTIAL AND OUTPATIENT
PROGRAMS AND FACILITIES IN MIDDLE TENNESSEE TO AID THE REHABILITATION
OF PERSONS WHO ARE HARMFULLY DEPENDENT ON ALCOHOL
OR OTHER CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES WITHOUT REGARD
TO AGE, SEX, RACE, ECONOMIC OR SOCIAL CIRCUMSTANCES,
RELIGION, SEXUAL ORIENTATION, DISABILITY, CREED,
COLOR, OR NATIONAL ORIGIN.
PathFinders'
Philosophy
The PathFinders Treatment Philosophy is based
on the 12 steps of recovery from Alcoholics
Anonymous and Narcotics Anonymous. The treatment
methods are based upon ASAM criteria. The
PathFinders also believes that treatment should
follow best practice guidelines and nationally
recognized evidence based treatment curricula
such as Matrix and Living in Balance. To help
ensure the most effective treatment possible,
The PathFinders' social setting detox,
residential and outpatient programs are CARF
accredited.
PathFinders'
History
The PathFinders, Inc was founded by Daniel
S. Hoyle, LPC MHSP in March, 1989. Since that
time The PathFinders' has expanded into
the following areas:
- Licensed Residential Detox/Rehab
Freestanding Center. Began operation
in Aug. 1989.
- The Rural AIDS Education and Outreach Program RAPP
- The PathFinders Gallatin Outpatient and Administration Office
- The PathFinders Madison Outpatient Office
- The PathFinders Murfreesboro Outpatient
Office
- The PathFinders "Farm", Castalian Springs
